We proudly serve Fort Smith, AR and the surrounding communities. Here at Fort Smith Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center our philosophy is to provide safe and compassionate patient care in a relaxed atmosphere. Doctors William E. Curry, DDS and Monte L. Butler, DDS practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implants to wisdom tooth removal.
Dr. Curry is a life-long resident of Arkansas and did his undergraduate studies here. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry at Memphis in 1973. After finishing a General Dentistry Internship with the VA Hospital, he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Tennessee and the City of Memphis hospitals in 1978. Since 1979 he has provided a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Fort Smith with services ranging from removal of Wisdom Teeth, Jaw Surgery and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Curry and his wife Donna have four children and several grandchildren. He remains active in his church, his local dental community as well as civic responsibilities. His hobbies include golf, fishing and hunting.
Dr. Butler grew up in Greenwood, Arkansas. A community just outside the Fort Smith area. He attended Rhodes College for undergraduate work and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry at Memphis in 1992. He also completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UT Memphis and its affliated hospitals. He enjoys the full scope of oral surgeries, with a special interest in dental implants.
Dr. Butler and his wife Michelle have two children. He is active in the local dental and civic community. He also enjoys spending time playing golf, fishing and snow skiing.
